Real talk - yeah, it’s technically possible but like… it’s way more complicated than those clickbait YouTube videos make it seem lol
Most of those “OMG listen to calls in REAL TIME!!!” videos are straight up 
- they’re either scams trying to get you to download sketchy apps or just fake demonstrations.
The real methods require either:
- Physical access to install spyware (which parents love doing
) - Being on the same network with some serious hacking skills
- Using actual surveillance equipment ($$$ and mostly illegal)
)From a teen’s perspective - if your parents are trying this, most “call intercepting” apps they find are probably just fake monitoring apps that claim to do everything but actually just drain battery and steal data 
The MFT structures on modern phones are pretty locked down for exactly this reason. Plus carriers encrypt voice data now, so even if you intercept it, good luck decoding it without serious tech knowledge.
